NORTH CAROLINA SPRING BREAK

Over spring break my mom and I went to North Carolina on a mother/daughter trip. We had a blast. We sang to music with the windows down, ate a ton of Chickfila, sat in rocking chairs at Cracker Barrel, stopped at an apple orchard, and shopped at the local mall. I couldn't ask for a better mother. I love her to death.

The apple orchard was beautiful and the blossoms were super colorful. Bees swarmed around every tree. The weather was absolutely fantastic. I loved every bit of the trip.

BIKING

I just had to bring my camera along. Hannah is my best friend and she is so perfect. The weather is wonderful and everything is so green. It was ninety degrees outside and shady. We biked thirteen miles and had a blast. As a result we woke up the next morning with sore feet and sore butts. It was completely worth it though. Biking is one of my favorite summer activities. I am biking five miles a day or more to prepare for a bike trip I am taking this summer in California. Super excited and very blessed!

EQUESTRIAN SCARVES

She has beautiful curly hair that is always so much fun to mess around with. She is absolutely adorable. The entire time she was texting though. I took her phone away several times and it resulted in my camera being taken. So, she said that if I wanted my camera back I had to give her back her phone. There was always a long period of time between each picture because she was always talking to someone. I should make a rule saying, "No phones allowed during photo shoots." I do have to admit though, she is pretty fantastic. I would be talking to her all the time if we didn't live together. If she wasn't my sister...I honestly believe she would be my best friend. Forever and always. Love you, Hannah. xoxo.

I am so obsessed with scarves that my family probably thinks I have a legit problem. The scarf Hannah is wearing is from Ralph Lauren. The colors are so pretty and I adore the design. Oh my goodness.

SISTER SNOW PORTRAITS

This was right before we got the flu on Sunday evening. It was horrible. We had to drive home on Christmas Eve from North Carolina. The snow was so gorgeous though. The light was beautiful and it was so much fun to put on scarves and sweaters. My mom sat inside and watched CSI while Hannah and I went on a walk. We tried to go through the woods...but we kept falling. It was a nice try though! Waking up to a white canvas draped over every tree, rock, and mountain is so beautiful. We went to town and shopped. We even ate lunch at this cute vintage bakery. I ordered a Chai Latte that tasted absolutely wonderful. A man saw me with my camera and asked me to come in another time and take some pictures and email them to him so he could post them on their website! I was so excited. Unfortunately, I was not able to get any pictures because we were in such a rush to get back to the mountain house. I even forgot his email that he told me. I remember his name was Jeff though! That's good. Maybe next time I will be able to grasp that opportunity.

On Christmas Eve I woke up and was barely able to get out of bed. I sat there and munched on peanut brittle and sipped on hot tea. I basically lived of cough drops. They are like candy. We drove for nine hours and when we got home my mom, Hannah, and I went right to bed and I slept till 2:00pm on Christmas.

We are all feeling a lot better now! Christmas was amazing.
